Study Purpose

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the effect of exercise on the physical and mental health of couples coping with cancer during radiation treatment for either breast or prostate cancer.

Medical Condition(s)

prostate cancer, breast cancer, radiation therapy

Eligibility Criteria

Co-residing couples, 18 years and older, where one partner is about to begin radiation therapy for breast or prostate cancer.

Age Range

18 - none

Healthy Volunteers Needed

No

Duration of Participation

About 6 months overall. Includes about two months during radiation therapy and up to four months of follow-up after the completion of radiation therapy.
