VAPORHCS/OHSU J: Pilot Study of a Progressive Exercise Program Among Lung Cancer Patient-Partner Dyads (PEP-LC)

Study Purpose

PEP-LC is a research study that will determine the effect of a partnered exercise program on relationship quality, as well as physical and mental health in patients and their spouse or chosen exercise partner.

Eligibility Criteria

You may qualify for this study if you have lung cancer, are cleared by your physician to participate in mild to moderate exercise, and you have a spouse (or other partner such as a friend, child, or sibling) who is also willing to participate in the study with you.

Age Range

18 - 100

Healthy Volunteers Needed

No

Duration of Participation

Participants will be asked to attend 12 weeks of exercise/stretching sessions that are tailored for lung cancer survivors: twice per week for 6 weeks, then once per week for 6 weeks.
