West Nile Virus Repellents Containing DEET

West Nile Virus is an illness spread by mosquito bites. Preventing mosquito bites can prevent getting West Nile Virus. Insect repellent products containing DEET (N, N-diethyl-m-toluamide) can reduce the risk of mosquito bites, but must be used with caution.
